• ForMaui - Fishpond 'Ohana Restoration Maui - dedicated to the restoration and preservation of this historical landmark.
• Friends of Haleakala National Park - "...to support educational, cultural, research, and service activities relating to the park and its ecosystems."
• Hui `Ai Pohaku - a Halau (school) envisioned for upcountry Maui, with the goal of cultural education, celebration and preservation.
• KAHEA - The Hawaiian Environmental Alliance - "...an alliance of Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) cultural practitioners, environmental activists and others concerned about protecting customary and traditional rights and our fragile environment."
• Ka Leo O Maui - The Voice of Maui - "...a service dedicated to the idea that citizens of the land own the government."
• Maui Economic Development Board - "...a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation established in 1982 to initially focus on diversifying Maui's economy."  Among their focuses, high tech, and women in business.
• Maui Historical Society - dedicated to historical preservation on the island.  They also run a museum.
• Maui Raceway Park - OK, not your usual organization ... not for profit drag-raceway.
• Maui Tomorrow - citizens shaping Maui's future today - "Maui Tomorrow works with government decision makers and citizens to teach and promote growth management strategies, to implement sustainable development policies for Maui, and to preserve irreplaceable open space and natural areas."
• Pacific Whale Foundation - "an international non-profit organization founded in 1980 with the mission of saving whales from extinction. We soon expanded our scope to include all marine eco-systems, as the survival of whales depends upon protecting their ocean habitats."
